Purlwise Labs is revolutionizing the craft of knitting through artificial intelligence and machine learning. With the snap of a photo on your mobile device, their new Stitch Counter Bot allows knitters to instantly count the stitches in their working row for a helpful live tally. Eventually they hope to expand to include features like row counting, error identification, crochet counting, pattern tracking, pattern and yarn recommendations, beginner assistance, and more!

After meeting with Purlwise Labs, the Xicay team got straight to work. We began with developing an app around their AI bot and optimizing it for many mobile devices. Then, we designed the UI, animations, and illustrations to display the fun-loving and light-hearted style of Purlwise!
